The city of romance: Paris

So you probably think of the famous Eiffel tower or the Love lock-bridge (which now doesn’t exist anymore by the way) when you think of romantic things to do with your significant other in Paris.

There is no escaping that the romance in Paris and the opportunities for romance is endless.

Here’s top places to go for you lovebirds:

1.See the city view from the top of the 324 m Eiffel Tower, or just sit down and admire the view of glittering Eiffel tower at night. It sparkles every hour with 20.000 gold lights. It’s not surprising that the tower is the top place for marriage proposals. On the top floor there’s actually a champagne bar you can sip on some champagne.

2.Admire the works of the romantic painter Delacroix in the Louvre museum (where you also can see the Mona Lisa-painting) and Museé d’Orsay. Be inspired by The Kiss (1889) and other works at Museé Rodin.

3.Eat romantic dinner with a spectacular Eiffel Tower view at Les Ombres or Café Branly.  If you want the picturesc dining, thinking you’re in Paris in 1912, then make sure to visit Benoit. This Michelin star-restaurant is really beautiful and it holds its charming atmosphere.

4.Book in a really romantic hotel near the city center. What you really wanna do is to live close to Paris’ main street, Champ Elyseés. Here’s where all the high end boutiques and restaurant are located.

These will do:

1.Saint James Paris

2.Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris

3.La Maison Favart

5.Eat delicious macrons at Larudée at Champs Elyseé street. It’s quite hectic here for a reason – the macrons delightful and you can’t get enough of them. Order these sweets with some fresh made coffee before heading out for shopping at the same street.

Bon voyage!
